This lovely vintage Steiff Giraffe was made by the world famous Steiff Company in the 1950’s.
He is made from mohair which has been painstakingly airbrushed to add those all familiar markings of the ever-popular giraffe. He has a lovely matching mane, mohair tipped tail and realistic eyes coloured in brown and black. 
For authentication purposes he still retains his “button in ear” (see pictures)
