This is a delightful vintage French ceramic salt (sel) box with hinged wooden lid which works well and is decorated with a colourful floral border which adds to its vintage charm. It is still in usable condition for its original intention or could simply be used for decoration. As there is a hole in back it could be hung on a wall or equally could be freestanding. Overall, this salt box is in good useable condition but as would be expected for a used vintage item it does show some minor wear.
