Here we have it in black and white! This lovely vintage Steiff Zebra was made by the world famous Steiff Company in the 1950’s.
 
He is made from white mohair which has been painstakingly airbrushed with black to add those all familiar stripes. He has a lovely matching mane, mohair tipped tail and realistic eyes coloured in brown and black. 
For authentication purposes he still retains his “button in ear” (see pictures)
